Tower Foreman

Full-Time in Little Canada, MN - Towers - $35.00 - $40.00

MCI Wireless is looking for hard-working, self-sufficient, and reliable individuals with experience in the wireless industry who enjoy working from heights to fill our Tower Foreman position for T-Mobile and/or Verizon builds. We have best-in-class managers and techs and are looking for a new foreman to lead a crew.

Some of your responsibilities and expectations for both positions are:

  • Ability to use tools or equipment safely and properly
  • Assist your team with maintaining a safe and organized work environment
  • Understand quality and installation requirements for T-Mobile and/or Verizon builds
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast paced environment
  • Maintain a professional attitude towards co-workers, public and management
  • Follow and adhere to all safety procedures and requirements
  • Attend safety meetings and follow company & safety policies

Additional responsibilities and expectations as a Foreman are:

  • Manage your crew while motivating and leading by example
  • The ability to understand the SOW, read plans & fill out safety forms properly
  • Planning to ensure your crew has all the necessary materials and supplies
  • Gather and submit all required deliverables within the required deadlines
  • Ensure the safety of your crew & notify Management of any issues
  • Communicate schedules and other necessary information to your crew clearly

Requirements:

  • Must have experience with climbing & ability to properly use climbing gear and PPE
  • Must be able to lift/carry 70lb
  • Must have full body mobility: twisting, turning, and working for extensive periods on feet
  • Must be able to work at various heights on a regular basis
  • Have basic math skills & speak/understand English
  • Ability to work in ALL weather conditions for extended periods
  • Pass a Criminal Background Check
  • Acceptable Driving Record & a Driver's License
  • Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends when necessary
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • Ability to to travel often to sites across the Upper Midwest
