Wireless Civil Foreman

Full-Time in Little Canada, MN - Wireless - $33.00 - $35.00 / hr

Job Description: Civil Wireless Foreman

A Civil Wireless Foreman oversees and manages ground-based construction and maintenance activities related to wireless tower installations. This role focuses on the civil engineering aspects of tower projects, ensuring the efficient and safe completion of groundwork while coordinating with tower crews.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee civil construction projects for wireless tower installations

- Coordinate tasks and ensure adherence to safety protocols and risk assessments

- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to achieve project objectives

- Monitor and provide reports on work progress

- Interpret project plans and specifications for ground-based activities

Team Leadership:

- Manage and motivate ground crews, leading by example and focusing on teaching

- Ensure crew has necessary materials, supplies, and equipment

- Communicate schedules and project information clearly to team members

- Maintain a professional attitude and foster a positive work environment

Safety and Compliance:

- Enforce all safety procedures and requirements

- Conduct regular site inspections and safety meetings

- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

- Notify management of any safety concerns or issues

Technical Responsibilities:

- Understand and implement Scope of Work (SOW) for civil aspects of wireless projects

- Read and interpret construction plans accurately

- Oversee foundation work, grounding systems, and other civil engineering tasks

- Ensure quality installation and adherence to T-Mobile and/or Verizon build requirements

Documentation and Reporting:

- Complete and submit all required documentation and pictures through each sites construction

- Properly fill out safety forms and other necessary paperwork

- Gather and organize project deliverables

Qualifications:

- Extensive experience in the wireless industry-specifically TMO and AT&T preferred

- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles related to tower installations

- Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment

- Excellent leadership and communication skills

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and technical documents

- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when necessary

- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs

- Full body mobility for extended periods of physical work

- Basic math skills and fluency in English

Additional Requirements

- Pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening

- Comfortable working in various weather conditions for extended periods

- Ability to travel frequently to sites across the Upper Midwest
